Step 1:
Install the TestFlight app from the App Store if you haven’t already. TestFlight is Apple’s official app for testing pre-release apps.Step 2:
Check your inbox for an invite from Apple. It will be sent to the Apple ID email you submitted in the Beta form and will reference joining the OutMyWindow Beta.Step 3:
Open the invite email and tap the link to install OutMyWindow via TestFlight. The app will then appear on your home screen.✅ Make sure you’re on the same device connected to that Apple ID account.

When you open the app for the first time and complete the walkthrough, you’ll need to create an account.• Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top right corner
• Choose Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google
• Complete the authorization processThis allows you to save flights, track your history, and receive Premium credit for participating in the Beta.📌 We’ll never share your info. It’s just for the Beta and flight tracking.

Once you’re in the app:1. Tap into the “Search to add your flight” field
2. Search by flight number (AA123) or by route (LAX to DFW)
3. Select your departure date
4. Choose your flight from the results list
5. Tap the Flight Card and it will automatically appear in your Upcoming Flights section✈️ You can add multiple upcoming flights at any time.

🛫 Pre-Flight:Before boarding, open the app and tap your Flight Card in the Upcoming list.You’ll see the five most recent routes for that flight. Use the Filters and Points of Interest list to preview what you might fly over. You can even use this to decide which side of the plane to sit on.✈️ In the Air:Once you’re airborne, open the app to begin the live experience.You’ll see:
• Your real-time flight position
• Upcoming points of interest along your route
• The ability to tap into landmarks for more detailsYour experience will depend on your WiFi access:Premium WiFi (Full Internet)
The app will use live ADS-B flight data. This is the most precise and reliable tracking mode.Limited WiFi or No WiFi
The app will use your phone’s internal GPS to estimate position. Performance may vary depending on signal strength and cabin conditions.If the map jumps, feels delayed, or struggles to get a GPS lock, make note of it — that feedback is extremely helpful during Beta.🛬 Post-Flight:After landing, your flight is automatically saved to your Past Flights list.You can:
• Review the full route
• Revisit the points of interest you passed
• Share feedback about the experience🚨 If you lose connection mid-flight or can’t get a GPS lock, don’t worry. That’s part of what we’re testing and improving.
